Wow! What a great place. It's clean, the wait staff is great and the pho is soooooo good!!! We found this after not being satisfied with the food at Disney World. We heard about a "asian area" in downtown Orlando and found it.

Try it! You definitely won't be disappointed!

Good you will know when you dare to try it out. Better than any other Pho in Orlando.

Let me just preface this review by saying I've eaten pho in 6 cities at over 14 different restaurants, so this isn't anywhere near my first experience with pho.

From the moment we walked in, we were seated without so much as a greeting or welcome. Immediately the waiter preceded the entire meal with "the cook is ready to go home so you need to order". Granted, we came in 15 minutes before closing time, but in this economy they should be happy to have customers who are willing to spend their money in this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Understanding their frustration, however, we ordered our food immediately. The waiter got visibly upset with us when ordering, for no apparent reason. Even when ordering by name instead of menu number, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about.

After our drinks and food came, our waiter never came back except once.

The broth was average at best (I'm being very generous there), the noodles in the summer roll were undercooked and therefore hard in the middle, the meat was edible at best (probably the best thing about the pho). Overall, it was average pho at best... until about 2/3 of the way through, we found not one, but two small bugs floating in the broth. Overall, horrible service, bad pho and unclean food practices marked the worst pho experience I've ever had.

Do not go to this place. I'm not sure where the previous reviewers have eaten pho at, but if this is the best place in Orlando, then you might as not eat pho in Orlando. Not worth my time, money or gas to go there.

I live in Kissimmee but have eaten Pho in many different states. This place is the best all around for food quality and service. The previous reviewer must of been having a bad day. I have never had less than excellent service. This is the only place I recommend to anyone coming into central Florida.

Pho 88 seemed like your typical pho place with cheap furniture and not much to the ambiance, but the staff was very friendly and courteous. The pho was good, but not the best we've had. The meat and noodles were good, but the vegetables were lacking. They included the normal bean sprouts, basil, and jalapenos, but nothing extra and they went skimpy with the basil (we asked for more and they obliged). Overall decent place with decent pho!

I've had pho in Tampa, Brandon, Jacksonville, Lakeland and Orlando and I can honestly say that Pho 88 is the best I have had! My only complaint is that they don't always have the cilantro that I love so much, but the noodles are good, meat is fresh and the broth is beyond flavorful.

After a full day at Universal, its time to chow down with some pho. Got some recommendations from the hotel people that was knowledgable in southeast Asian cuisine so we decide to try this out instead of waiting to go get some when we get back to Houston. We got there with half an hour til closing and the place was still half full and started emptying out. We can get the aromas of the various food wafting around the parking lot and gosh that made us even hungrier. I knew what I wanted but everyone took their time deciding. The food came out somewhat disjointedly and I got my pho last. The waiter apologized that the kitchen was closing down and some had to be reprepped. Note to self... staff wants to leave at closing time, not serve until closing time and close. Any way veggie plate was brimming with fresh everything but did not have cilantro and coriender. Bowl was huge with option to order XL size. Broth was strong and closer to northern style. Not piping hot so get your sprouts in right away. Noodles were a little bit al dente and with the cooler broth did not ever peaked. Meat was well represented and oh so tender. Was glad to get a bowl and now we know where can get here quicker as soon as we book out of the amusement parks.
