We enjoyed every bite of our food. Great atmosphere. We will most definitely be regulars there!!!!

Too bad they have limited seating. It's worth the wait though, we only waited for about ten minutes or so. The food and service was excellent!!!

Excellent restaurant, though very small. I don't think they realized how popular they would be. This place is RIGHT across the street from my home -- a dangerous situation, as I am there more than I should be.

The pho (and other dishes) are excellent, and, I am told, VERY authentic. The staff is nice, courteous and knowledgeable. Take out is fast. Cost is average. A great place pho sho.

This is a fantastic place to eat. The food is so fresh and delicious. The service is fantastic. They are friendly and accomodating. They need more space to satisfy the demand!!

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago. No wonder what everyone is talking about. My new favorite hot spot. I loved every bite of my chicken noodle pho. #1 restaurant in our area!!!

mmmm.....sooooo goooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It tastes delicious; however, I consider it to be a lowfat version of Pho.

I think this Pho is americanized, the broth tastes more like a chicken broth, I can't get past that...

San Fran
My wife and I have been to all the Vietnamese establishments in Lancaster, and this restaurant will blow you away! We are from San Fran, and we know great food when we taste it! Believe me, this is a hidden gem, they need more locations.
The sooner the better.

we ask for a side order of a bowl of meatballs, and they gave us raw meatball without the soup.

Superb! Read review from person from San Francisco, no one from "The City" calls it San Fran.

Saw this place while driving by one day and put it on my list of places to try. I'm so glad I did, because this is a great little Vietnamese restaurant with modern styling and sensibilities.

The variety and freshness of vegetables and herbs provided is the best of any comparable restaurant in the Lancaster area. The service is fast and efficient, and the prices very reasonable.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes Vietnamese food, as well as for the curious/adventurous.

Who would have believed that perfection in a bowl could be found in Lancaster, Pennsylvania? If I could give the broth 10 stars I would, and everything else we tried was splendid and divine, as well. The meat is cut into small, micro-thin bites and all of the vegetable accoutrements are perfect. The only very minor complaint is that sometimes the noodles get a bit clumpy, but you're so busily lost in heavenly culinary delight that it takes some concentration to notice. I've eaten Pho in about 12 different American restaurants in various parts of the country and this is my favorite.

I used to live in Philadelphia and I loved going out for Pho. Since I've moved to Lancaster, I didn't know of any Pho restaurants in the area. I did some research and discovered this place and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The Pho Tai is fantastic.

I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and I'd have to say, they're really good. The best I've had? I'm not sure about that, but it's close enough that it makes little difference.

When you get Pho Tai for takeout, they even give you the meat rare with the broth steaming hot, in a container sealed in a bag to keep it hot, to cook the meat in. That gets big brownie points in my book. Forget those places that give you the meat cold and already cooked; this is the way to eat Pho Tai.

I have yet to try anything else on the menu, but I'll be getting to that soon enough.

PIXIE
I love vietnamese food. In every city that I travel I check out the vietnamese restaurants. For all the reviews this restaurant received this was truly a let down. Very bland food with nothing extra. Even the spring rolls were a disappointment: rice, shrimp and lettuce with dipping sauce that was watered down like soup. Most of the diners used silverware. Summed up this is a trendy place for those who do not know real vietnamese food. Which explains the high ratings. Allegedly, the hype is the owners come from New Orleans. New Orleans has superb vietnamese food and a large vietnamese population. That said, it is clear why the owners moved out of New Orleans.

Too bad for PIXIE...My family and I are Vietnamese, and we dine at Rice & Noodles every weekend. You should try the Canh Chua Ca Kho, and come back and make another comment. It's too bad that you don't know great Vietnamese food when its right in front of your face. From what I hear, they were the best restaurant in New Orleans.

I LOVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I could eat this food at this restauraunt all day every day

I am also Vietnamese and know what REAL Vietnamese cuisine taste like and this is it. I go to this place every week and LOVE it!!! This is in reference to the comment made from PIXIE. It is obvious PIXIE is not Vietnamese nor knows what great Vietnamese food taste like - and to hit below the belt about the comment about New Orleans. You should be ashamed of yourself. Do you realize what this family has been through?

This is the best restaurant across the US

Rice & Noodles is hands down the best Vietnamese in the area. I just spent the last fourteen months traveling in Asia and I failed to find a restaurant served Pho of this quality. Rice and Noodles uses the freshest ingredients possible and you can really taste the difference. The staff and owners are also really great people. Highly recommended.

I just have to complain! Rice and noodles is over rated! Yeah it has some good fresh food that has a nice presentation, but this website and rankings are about pho and this is not the place to go fo yo pho! After eating at Saigon for awhile and then coming back to Rice and Noodles I realized the difference. If you want chicken noodle pho go to Rice and Noodles but if you want a big bowl of that beautiful beautiful goodness that makes your body feel good with that nice pink meat and beautiful shiny fatty layer on the top your your broth in a place that it is perfectly appropriate to roll up your sleeves dig in while wiping your nose and forehead then get right over to Saigon. boo ya! (p.s. all the hipsters like Rice and Noodles too)

Hands down, the best pho ever!!!

Phorocious
Food here is always tasty but the Pho was extremely disappointing. I'd stick with spring rolls and rice dishes here.
