Why do you go to a Vietnamese restaurant for? Of course its because of the food. You will never complain about the food here. I have never been to a Vietnamese restaurant that has great service, but the service here ranks higher among the other ones. How can you expect more when you are paying 6 dollars for an entree.

Best Pho in town!!! The ingredients are fresh the broth is very tasty. I have been there many, many times. Other food dishes are worth a try as well. The service could be a little better.

Excellent food, with some of the best Vietnamese items in the area, and very popular with the locals. Unfortunately, the service is very slow and confused. Not rude or obnoxious, just disorganized and unaware. The delivery of items to the table are badly synchronized and often leave other guests at the table waiting. Tip: Don't bother waiting for the bill at the end of the meal as that could take a long time. Just walk up to the counter instead.
Carry-out: They have always made errors in our carry-out orders even after double- and sometimes triple-checking with the order taker. Confirm the items in your bag before paying.
Overall, good food and clean,decent decor, but the service could be vastly improved. I wouldn't hestitate to eat at Pho Dakao more often if they could get their act together.
