Definitely one of the better pho places in LA. If you equate hole in the wall with authentic taste, this is the hole for you.

I've tried lots of pho restaurants and this place is my favorite. Everything about the pho (broth, noodles, veggies) are great but I think it's the broth that is the difference maker. It is very flavorful and is a bit on the "thick" side. Not all watery. Customer service (for a pho resaurant) is not bad, although that's not saying much. Whatever their shortcomings are, the pho definitely makes up for it though. I recommend highly.

One of my very favorite pho joints in the Hawthorne/Gardena/Lawndale area. Strong broth served with more veggies than average and (for pho tai) amazingly thin sliced beef that quickly improves the flavor of the broth.

This was a tough bowl of pho for me to finish. The broth was thick, murky and a bit on the rich side, plus it lacked the essential aroma a great bowl of pho would offer. I'd go back again in a pinch because of the good service and nice selection of drinks--my soda xi mui (salted plum in soda) hit the spot that the pho missed.

I have eaten in one too many many pho places. By far this is the best EVER. In the winter we are here almost every week.
