What a disappointment! I had driven past Mekong Restaurant several times, and looked forward to trying it with friends. Was I glad I went alone the first time! I would have been embarrassed to take others there. The broth and veggies were just so-so. The portion was small. But the real deal breaker was the condition of the noodles which sat in a solid clump at the bottom of the bowl. Only with difficulty and the help of chop sticks and a fork was I able to partially tease the noodles apart. Most disappointingly, when I spoke to the waitress about the noodles she was completely uninterested, and made no offer to replace the noodles or adjust my bill, and would not commit to talking to the chef about them.
