Great tasting pho in the Galleria area.

Good pho, good banh mi pork sandwich. The cha gio wasn't very good. Texture sucked and little taste. I'd skip it.
You order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. You have to help yourself to a drink fountain, silverware, napkins, etc., and take it to your table, which results in several trips back and forth to your table. Why on earth they can't get a waiter/waitress to come to your table to take your order is a mystery to me. Prices are a bit higher than they should be, but I bet they are paying a pretty penny in rent for that location.
Although this spot clearly caters to Americans and is not a hardcore pho joint, their soup is pretty darn good. Fresh veggies, eye candy staff.
If in the area and you need a fix, it will work. It's in the strip center on the southwest corner of Westhiemer and Fountainview.

Where is the Flavor?
How wrong they are!
We have tried Pho Binh three times.
Big bows, quick services, a lot of meat , good noodle but the broth is just mediocre average.
It is just a big bow of beef noodle … not a good bow of “PHO”. The broth from Swanson can has better flavor…
One thing I would like to mention that even when we were in Vietnam.. a small good Pho restaurant or cart became average after the owner expanded the business and cut the conner I hope this is not the case here.
