If you are looking for a fantastic authentic Vietnamese Pho noodle soup this is the place. The broth is very flavorful, tender slices of steak, and very tasteful noodle. The side beansprouts and purple herbs are always fresh. The waitresses are all beautiful and friendly. There should be one of this type of restaurant in every town.

There is a much better vietnamese restaurant in Lowell. Try: www.phodalat.com

My comment is about pho only. In my opinion Pho 88 has better pho than Pho Dalat. The broth at 88 has just the right amount of spices, especially the star anise. I don't like pho that is overwhelmed with star anise. The meat at 88 is thinly sliced. At Dalat, their pho is served with more meat but the meat is sliced too thick. Overall, pho Dalat is good but is not as good as Pho 88.

I am a Pho addict, and have tried all the area restaurants numerous times, but always wind up going back to 88. They just have the perfect proportions of noodles, broth, and meat. The flavor is outstanding. And the recently redone restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere.

Pho Da Lat in the same town is much better.

Don't waste your money on tasteless food.

I absolutely love Pho 88.. I have been going there for more than 5 years and each time I have been there, I've never been disappointed. Their pho dac biet is simply amazing... I'm drooling as I speak about it now. The broth is perfectly seasoned and to be honest it doesn't really require much condiments but of course you gotta add some for the best pho you have ever eaten in your life. The thin slices of beef add perfect texture and let's not forget about the deliciously fresh tripe. Every bite just gets better and better and of course for the ultimate pho experience you have to have their amazing bubble teas. I always have taro with my pho and it is heaven in my mouth. You can't go wrong with any flavor.. even the durian is delicious. I dream and crave pho 88 everyday.. I don't know what I'd do without it. Hands down the best pho I've ever had in my life.
