This restaurant is actually closer to Tomball, TX northwest of Houston so it would be off the beaten path from the main Houston Asian restaurant clusters. It is right off the 249 Highway Louetta exit Northbound side in front of the Home Depot, very easy to find. The restaurant is well lit, airy, and spartan. I ordered a large rare beef with meatball for $6.75. It arrived hot and steaming well within the 5 minutes mark. The broth was above average with clear and flavorful notes of anise, beef, and onion. The rare meat was average portion, paper thin, and goes wonderful with alternating quick dips with the meatballs on the side sauces. The noodle was cooked al dente, good and chewy throughout. The veggies were well represented with all the standard items except for the elusive coriender (ngo gai).
And yes, they take American Express, yay.
Well worth the effort to find it if you are out and about the NW Houston area.
