Owner is very nice. Must ask for extra condiments when taking out.

Best Honolulu Pho at "Pho South King"
+ + + + +
Because there are many Pho restaurants in Honolulu, it's difficult to tell which is good or not, so I asked a Vietnamese friend which one she eats at. She quickly said Pho South King. Since then I visit PSK at least once a month.
The decor is simple but the pho is excellent - especially the noodles which are balled up tightly and look hand made, unlike other places that I've visited.
Aside from the low prices and great, simple food, the owner is a really nice older man who always has a smile for us when we walk in.
When my parents came to visit, we dined at some of Honolulu's most expensive restaurants, but when I brought them here they said this was their favorite. My mom said, "this was the most comforting and quality meal we've had yet, and the cost for four of us eating was the same price of the tip at any of the other places."
Skip the high prices and fake atmospheres of other restaurants - and check out Pho South King. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
