Having eaten Pho in nearly every major city in North America, I can say hands down that the broth at Saigon Gardens is the best. I used to survive on Pho as a student when I lived in the Spadina Market section of Toronto and having developed a taste and passion for this amazing soup over the last twenty years I feel I have at least a basis for some sort of authority. There is no doubt in my mind that the key to this dish is the broth and the broth at this restaurant is pure ambrosia!

Excellent Pho - Best place in Ann Arbor for Pho - no doubt...

The pho is not all that great as it was praised, the one in Lansing called Asia's Finest is so much beter.

I've tried the pho here twice and after the second time, decided to just give up on it. I found it kind of bland and granted Ann Arbor is not California, the pho is decent but not great.

I'd rate this pho a C+. Not the best, but OK. I've had it other places, and this just wasn't as good. I'm used to more fresh ingredients to add myself, like fresh basil. All I received were bean sprouts and lime wedges. Also, the meat was tough and lacked seasoning.

This was one of the worst dinning experiences of my life. We found this restaurant on the Pho Fever website and decided to try it. We came specifically for Pho and were so disappointed. The meat was absolutely terrible it was fatty and disgusting. We all picked almost all of it out and left it on the side of the plate. Not that anyone asked us if something was wrong with it. The freshness of the vegetables was not awful but had no variety. The three of us were brought a plate of limes, beansprouts, and very little cilantro with nothing else. When I asked if they had and anything else the guy pretty much hit a wall like he had no idea what I was talking about. The fresh rolls we ordered were the worst I have ever seen. The worst part was when we paid our bill the woman who I assume was the owner or in charge came to ring us up. She never asked how anything was but began ringing us up. After we had paid for our horrible food she proceeded to accuse us of not paying for a Pho even though we all had. We kept going through it explaining who had paid for what items. She was so rude through the whole ordeal. She kept saying we had not payed for different items each time. She kept yelling see randomly in a obnoxious voice. After a long time of trying to nicely show her we had paid for everything we finally told her that we were leaving and walked out. Do not go to this restaurant, it is awful all around and the Pho was the worst I have ever had.
