I love the flavor at this place, great soup, egg rolls and spring rolls. The staff not so helpful. You won't always get the soup that you order because it is all the same price, or maybe they think you won't notice. I don't really mind though, the price is good and if I really want tendon and tripe I guess I can get it somewhere else.

This restaurant serves good pho. The texture of the rice noodles is correct and the soup broth has a pleasant flavor. Pho 38th also has a great selection of vermicelli salads and banh mi. My only complaint would be the price of their banh mi, $4.50 compared to $2.50 at other restaurants. That being said, I continue to eat at Pho 38th over other Vietnamese restaurants in the Tacoma area.

Great food customer service not so great when it came to ordering. I asked about a certain soup, and they said I wouldn't like it, have this instead! I kinda chuckled a little bit ate the soup they brought me and enjoyed it. I'll go there again.
