Hong Thanh is a wonderful, semi-upscale Vietnamese restaurant with a full, delicious menu. Unfortunately, they don't have a clue with their Pho, which comes with very thick chunks of meat, a very limited condiment tray, no standard sauces (you have to ask for them), and an overall very disappointing pho experience. Because they are the only Pho restaurant within 30 miles, sometimes they are the only option, but we've been driving to Lancaster (about 40 miles) instead.

Best place in Reading, good atmosphere, but a little expensive for quality and size you get. We need more Pho soup houses in and around Reading PA. But better broth and bigger bowls like at other city restaurants would be appreciated.
