There's another serious contender in the neighborhood for amazing Asian soup Sui Ren (www.suirenbrooklyn.com) at Metropolitan and Roebling has staggeringly good ramen (kamo or miso), and they just added a hearty vegetarian version to the lineup. The rest of their menu is small plates and worth checking out too!
